The moment when everything changes… A goodbye story

world oyster

Once upon a time…

There was a girl who decided to change her life. She blogged about each part of the adventure and people started to get involved and be part of the journey. Magical things started to happen.

One day she decided to leave her home and travel to wonderful places and meet wonderful people. But she pondered… what if the travel could have some meaning? Just as that very thought crossed her mind, whiz-bang-pop! a lovely lady appeared who said (more…)

Why blog? 3 reasons why a blog will blow your mind!

Six months ago I partnered up with my good friend Amanda to start a new blog: Single to Married in 12 Months. Amanda had noticed some patterns in her love life and I had some theories on the topic that I was preparing for my next book.

My theory is that finding “the one” is all about mindset. Amanda was keen to test my theory, so the 12 Months challenge was set and the blog was born.

From my own experience blogging has been life changing and opened many doors. What rocks now is to see was that Amanda is now experiencing the same effect! As well as front page of the paper this week, she made her first TV (more…)

Interview with Kendra Delano – Designing your Life with Leather and Pearls

Kendra Delano

Another interview to inspire you!

Kendra Delano is living the life in the Mayan Riviera working just one day a week managing her jewellery business; Leathered Pearls. She kindly shared some of her story for you…

How did you get started and what inspired your business choice?

I lived on a sailboat off the coast of Bimini when I was a girl. Change - Blue Button

It is time for change.

I can tell by the amount of new challenges I am taking on that I am beyond the grief and back to my old self… Yay!

Finding myself clear headed again I  realise that my business needs to change in ways I didn’t anticipate when I started this journey.

Recently four awesome casual staff came on to help with different parts of the business, this has been a godsend but unfortunately has also highlighted the fact that I am terrible at delegating! But it is nice to know that (more…)

Christine Cronau on how wealth (and health) can be a piece of cake!

Christine C

And now for something completely different!

Although I personally focus on the web, lifestyle design comes in many forms and I took some time recently to interview Christine Cronau who created her own low maintenance income through the property market.

I was very inspired in the interview and her perspective is deliciously uncomplicated…

You created your financial freedom through property, but this wasn’t your profession. What motivated you to make the change? Did you know what you were doing when you started?

I was motivated to make a change because I wasn’t happy at work.  I loved the (more…)

Lifestyle Design is the art of creating a lifestyle to suit your wants and needs. It is all about choices; it is all about YOU choosing how YOU want to live. This may revolve around your preferences – I want to live in a warm climate, around your needs – I need to spend time with my small children or around your interests – I want to spend my time feeding the hungry.

If you are interested in really living your life in a way that you designed it, there are some essential things you need… (more…)
